Winter Diesel Generator Antifreeze Reminder

During the cold winter season, as temperatures drop, all users must pay close attention to engine maintenance to avoid the freezing of coolant, which may cause the engine block and cylinder head to crack.

If the generator set needs to be stored, please drain the water from the points marked on the engine as shown in the attached diagram. Additionally, open the caps of the main circulation radiator and the intercooler circulation radiator. Also, open the drain plug on the lower water chamber of the radiator to drain the water.

If the generator set needs to be used during winter, you can add an appropriate amount of antifreeze to the coolant to lower the freezing point. Choose the suitable antifreeze according to different temperatures. Be aware that antifreeze is toxic and corrosive, so please handle it with caution.
